Garden caterpillar

While doing some work in our Fairlight garden, Jill found this distinctive caterpillar, identified from the Collins Guide and internet as that of the White Ermine Moth. This is not particularly common here , with just 2 adults caught in the moth trap this year, Buff Ermines are much commoner.
