From the Clifftop

A bit hit and miss over the last few days, with some nasty weather stopping migration, and a moth trap failure-fortunately just a blown fuse.

This morning has been the most productive, with 875 Goldfinches and 112 Siskins E in 2 hours, several Chiffchaffs, Goldcrests and a Firecrest in off the sea and passing through the garden, and a spectacular 460 Gannets fishing below

14 species of moths this morning included a Flounced Chestnut.
