Pett Level

Birds were spread out throughout the levels but not in great numbers. Highlights included a Ruff, 12 Brent Geese and two White-fronts.

The pools help 400 Wigeon and good numbers of most of the commoner ducks. A male Marsh Harrier hunted the reed beds.

There was a distant flock of 45 Common Scoter on the flat calm sea. Nearer in there were at least 50 Red-throated Divers.
