Back to the Clifftop

We have been away in India for a couple of weeks, neatly missing some chilly weather when it was apparently possible to make a snowman on the clifftop. A brief look at the sea yesterday revealed 28 Red Throated Divers fishing close inshore. A visit to East Guldeford Levels showed that the large areas of stubble there continue to support good numbers of farmland birds, notably 185 Skylarks; two Lapland Buntings were with some of these.
