East Guldeford Levels

An early morning visit to the Levels yesterday was very productive, loads of birds and record counts.

120 Corn Buntings was by far my best count there, at least 20 Tree Sparrows likewise, while 250 Carrion Crows was almost a lifetime  best [beaten only by 800 over Beidaihe, China in '92 !]. Skylarks were again everyhere, at least 120.

Other birds were Marsh Harrier, Raven, Kingfisher and Green Sandpiper-my first winter record there since 2012.
