From the Clifftop and Dungeness

A couple of hours seawatching during a strong and biting easterly yesterday morning produced 49 Gannets, all adults, just  two Red throated Divers [38 the previous day], but a splendid Great Skua headed rapidly into the wind. Again I went over to Dungeness, but heavy falling snow cut my visit short, though not before I had very close views of the juv Glaucous Gull on the shingle bank at the Patch.
