Joining Barry Yates on a walk around Rye Harbour the group were rewarded with views of a Sandwich Tern on Ternery Pool. It is usually the first migrant to appear on the reserve but still seems a little early. Watching it through the murk and the rain it did look a bit disgruntled. Hopefully however it is a sign that spring is nearly here!
